No. 195 is a Goodyear-welted, women’s black double monk shoe. The monk strap, also known as a »Monk shoe« is similar in shaft cut to the classic derby. That being said, the double monk shoe is quite distinctive, as it features a double buckle closure instead of lacing. Worn exclusively by men for centuries, designs such as this one have begun to gain popularity among women as well.
