Falke Socks for Men - Top Quality for Your Feet

Ultimate Comfort for Your Feet for Over 100 Years - Men's Socks by Falke

The origins of the internationally operating corporate group today date back to the last decade of the 19th century. At that time, trained roofer Franz Falke-Rohen from Schmallenberg earned his living as a seasonal worker in the local knitting factory during the cold winter months. What started as a necessity turned into a stroke of luck, as Falke-Rohen discovered his passion for the ancient traditional craft. In 1895, he took the step towards self-employment and it was a success. Together with his son Franz Falke Jr., he built one of the largest knitting factories in the Sauerland region.

Now in its fourth generation, great-grandson Paul and cousin Franz-Peter Falke continue the tradition of producing high-quality knitwear. Over the years, Falke perfected its collection of classic stockings, new machines were put into use, and fashionable designs and patterns were introduced into the range. However, even after more than a century, the traditional knitters still adhere to the philosophy of their great-grandfather Franz: first-class materials, precise craftsmanship, and an excellent fit.

From Fiber to Finished Knitwear - Traditional Craftsmanship

Quality and comfort of Falke socks are based on their elaborate production. Starting with the selection of fibers, spinning of yarns, and processing of threads into knitted fabrics - the production of the knitwear alone requires great care. The actual socks are then mounted and knitted on special circular knitting machines.

Whether made as single or tube knit - each Falke sock is additionally reinforced at the highly stressed areas (heel, high heel, sole, and toe) to increase durability. Its final shape is achieved at over 100 degrees. The socks are measured and inspected by hand. Only then are they labeled and packaged.
